It’s Sunday and it’s approaching the end of another weekend of traffic on the roads here in Devon and Cornwall.
There are a series of long-term roadworks projects ongoing in Devon and Cornwall, such as the roadworks in Matford on the A379, which have seen lane and speed restrictions implemented near the Devon Hotel.
On the Tamar Bridge, three lanes remain running in total across the bridge, but through the tidal flow or a contraflow, so there is reduced capacity and a different road layout.
Meanwhile in Cornwall, the A387, Sandplace Road, is closed in both directions due to safety checks between the Duloe turn off to Looe Station.
We’ll be bringing you all of the latest traffic and travel news from the roads across Devon and Cornwall in the blog below.
