A patriotic woman who brought her own essential produce fridge shopping has been given the white good for free.

Abby Trainor brought a blush to boyfriend William Dennison’s cheeks when she whipped out an Irn-Bru bottle and four-pinter of milk while in their local Currys PC World in East Kilbride, North Lanarkshire on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old wanted to ensure the liquid staples would both fit in at the same time, the Daily Record reported.

Footage of Abby, 30, pulling the drinks out to the embarrassment of William, 29, went viral after she posted it online.

The Scottish woman came equipped with an Irn-Bru

Kind bosses of the tech shop saw the video and contacted the Glasgow couple.

A representative wrote: “Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to storing the essentials!

“We love the 3021 thinking here.

“How about we get that fridge for you?”

A stunned William tagged Abby in the tweet, jesting that she have her receipt of purchase ready for any switchover.

The welder posted, “Abby Trainor, get the receipt handy” to which she replied “we would absolutely love that @curryspcworld thank you” with praying and laughing emojis.

But the offer was no laughing matter as Currys staff were quick to respond, throwing a washing machine in to boot.

They wrote: “As new homeowners, you’ve probably got a long old list of tech you want to kit out your house with, so I’m sure we can help out there!

Abby also bought a bottle of milk

“Perhaps a washing machine to get any Irn-Bru stains out?

“Check your DMs & we’ll sort you out with some amazing tech.”

The kind gesture comes just one month before William and Abby, a finance administrator, move into their first home together in East Kilbride.

Their viral video didn’t go unnoticed by Irn-Bru who also shared the clip and wrote, ‘Someone with their priorities straight’.

Twitter users hailed the idea as ‘genius’.

One commented: “Here, that’s a great idea.

“I need a new fridge freezer and it needs to hold two to four litre jugs of milk comfortably.”
