Primark Home to launch in three Scottish stores in October – Daily Record

Primark will expand its homeware collection across three of its Scots stores over the coming weeks.

The budget retailer announced it will open new sections across 25 of its UK branches from October due to an ‘exceptional growth’ of Primark Home over the past 18 months.

It has been revealed new Primark Home sections will open in Braehead, Glasgow and Aberdeen as a result, Manchester Evening News reports.

The new areas will feature a range of homeware items – including statement chairs, sideboards, shelving units, mirrors and rugs among a host of others.

Primark said the Home collection “offers the latest interior design trends and pocket-friendly prices”.

Speaking about the expansion of Primark Home, trading director Paul Baldwin said: “There has been exceptional growth within our home and lifestyle department over the past 18 months as people have spent more time in their home.

“Naturally we wanted to keep up with this growing customers demand and expand our offering into small furniture and several other new categories.”

He continued to say ‘delivering extended ranges in newly created spaces within selected stores will help establish Primark as a growing destination not only for great home and lifestyle accessories at amazing prices but also for larger statement and functional pieces to complete a room.”

Whatever space Primark customers are styling within their homes, they now can curate a stylish sanctuary with Primark’s new small furniture collection.
