A woman took to TikTok to share the shocking hidden meaning in the Travelodge logo – and some of the employees were even left stunned as they found out the truth

TikTok user shares her shock at Travelodge logo

A woman was left gobsmacked when she worked out what the Travelodge logo actually is.

The hotel chain, known for its budget prices, had its customers scratching their heads over its logo as many believed it to be hills and even a seagull.

But according to TikTok user @chxrll, it’s neither of the above – it’s someone sleeping. Can you see it?

Charlotte shared her sudden revelation about the logo in a video that has since gone viral on the video-sharing platform, attracting more than 737,000 views from people who were just as stunned as she was to find out the truth.

“My dumb ass thinking about how the Travelodge logo is a person sleeping…” she wrote, as she munches on crisps.

She then shows a picture of the logo and added: “For years I thought it was hills!”

Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 33,000 likes and 600 comments many of which were shocked by the revelation and shared what they believed the logo was.

What did you think it looked like?

One person said: “S**t I thought it was a seagull.”

Another commented: “I’ve never seen that before in all my life I thought it was just colours.”

A third wrote: “NO WAY. been living a lie my whole life.”

Even an employee of the hotel chain admitted they didn’t know, as they admitted: “I work for Travelodge and I’ve never realised.”

But it turns out this wasn’t news to everyone as one person said: “Am I the only one that has always known it’s a person sleeping? I feel kinda special not gonna lie.”

The Mirror has contacted Travelodge for comment.
